MOBILE THERAPY SERVICES
The Horse's Touch therapy horses, Lena and Leo, will travel by trailer from Heart & Heritage Farm in Charlotte, VT to your location for a morning (9:00 - 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon (2:30 - 5:00 p.m.) to engage in equine-assisted activities.
Upright stanchions and barrier tape will be set up to cordon off the space around the horses. Participants will engage in grooming activities, leading exercises and games on the ground. Participants are assisted by our PATH Certified Instructor and Trained Volunteers.
Lena and Leo are Norwegian Fjord Horses, chosen for their calm disposition and natural aptitude for therapy work, who have also been acclimated to working in a variety of settings.
During the event, The Horse's Touch will provide:

Provides the opportunity for up to 16 participants to connect with Lena & Leo through grooming and leading activities as well as games within a 2.5 hour period (includes a break for the horses).

Upright stanchions and barrier tape will be set up to cordon off the space around the horses. Small groups will enter the space to groom and interact with the horses (Meet, Greet & Groom) OR large groups will interact from outside the stanchions (Meet & Greet within a larger event), assisted by our Certified Instructors and Trained Volunteers.
Lena and Leo are Norwegian Fjord Horses, chosen for their calm disposition and natural aptitude for therapy work. Lena and Leo are acclimated to working in a variety of settings.

Provides the opportunity for up to 20 participants to connect with Lena & Leo through grooming activities within a 1.5 hr. period (includes a break for the horses).
